Appointing a Data Protection Officer (DPO) is not mandatory given the current volume and nature of the processing, pursuant to article 34 of the Spanish LOPDGDD. This will be reassessed if the number of users or the type of processing changes substantially.
2. What data we collect

3. Purposes and legal basis
- •Providing the service (legal basis: performance of the contract): managing your account, your schedule, the colleague network, the client CRM and the rest of the app features.
- •Improving the service and support (legal basis: legitimate interest): analysing app usage to fix errors and prioritise new features.
- •Marketing communications (legal basis: consent): only where the user expressly authorises it, for notices about new features or promotions.
4. Who we share data with (processors)
In order to provide the service, some data is shared with technology providers acting as processors, under contract, and only to the extent necessary:

We do not sell or transfer data to third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to providing the service.
5. A special case: the driver's client data
When a driver records the name, phone number or email of a person they have driven in their client record, Rexip acts as processor with respect to that data, and the driver themselves is the controller of their clients' data. Rexip provides the driver with tools to comply with their obligations (for example, being able to delete a client's data whenever they wish).
6. Retention period
Data is retained while the account is active, and for the additional periods required by tax and commercial legislation after closure (generally up to 6 years in Spain for records with tax relevance). Users may request erasure of their data at any time, without prejudice to those statutory retention periods.
7. Your rights
As the data subject, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object and request portability of your data. You may exercise them by writing to hello@rexip.com. You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you consider that your request has not been handled properly.
8. Security measures
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption of data in transit, access control, backups) to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
9. Minors
Rexip is aimed exclusively at professionals of legal age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal or service changes. Any relevant change will be notified through the app itself.
